AFCON 2023 Qualifiers: Red-Hot Osimhen Arrives For Sierra Leone Clash

In readiness for the clash against Leone Stars of Sierra Leone, Super Eagles forward Victor Osimhen has arrived Abuja for the game, BSNsports.com.ng reports.

Despite having an injury worry in the just concluded Italian Serie A season, the energetic striker was able to distinguish himself in the colours of Napoli.

Super Eagles had been in the United States in the last one week where they played two international matches against Mexico and Ecuador, which they lost 2-1 and 1-0 respectively.

Osimhen missed the two games after he asked to be excused but his performance last season for his club, still earned him a return as his name was included in the 25-man list for the AFCON qualifiers by the new Super Eagles coach Jose Paseiro.

He arrived at the team camp in Abuja on Sunday morning as the team set to begin preparations for the match slated for Wednesday at the MKO Stadium Abuja.
