AFCON 2023 Qualifiers: Sierra Leone Depart Conakry For Nigeria

To settle down on time for the task ahead, Leone Stars of Sierra Leone have departed Conakry, Guinea for Abuja the venue of the match against Nigeria's Super Eagles, BSNsports.com.ng understands.


The team under coach John Keister set up a campsite in Guinea to acclimatize themselves to the weather that is closer to Nigeria's weather.


Sierra Leone's Deputy High Commissioner to Nigeria Miss Anna Betty Mousa will join other diplomatic staff to receive the team on Saturday afternoon at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport.


With this early arrival, Sierra Leone will have four days to prepare for the game slated for the Moshood Abiola Stadium in Abuja.
