The final round of the 2023 African Cup of Nations qualifier is gradually turning into another thing in the continent with players and coaches venting their anger after games, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The attention was switched to the crucial game involving the Black Stars of Ghana and the Central African Republic on Thursday at the Cape Coast Stadium in Kumasi.

Ghana came from a goal down to win the game 2-1 but the coach of CAR Raoul Savoy accused the centre referee of biased officiating and further cursed the Ghanaian national team.

"Your next AFCON will be like your last," cursed the Central African Republic coach.

The statements nearly caused a stir during the post-match conference but the intervention of the security operative doused the tension.

At the 2021 edition played in Cameroon, Ghana recorded just one point and was eliminated prematurely in the group phase.
