AFCON 2025: Algeria Renovates Five More Stadiums

To have a better chance of securing the hosting right of the 2025 African Cup of Nations, Algeria started the holistic renovation of five (5) more stadiums, BSNSports.com.ng has gathered.
Algeria is one of the strong contenders for the hosting of the biennial competition with Morocco, Zambia, Nigeria, and Benin's joint bid posing a real threat.
The North African countries already have 5 new stadiums that will host the Championship of African Nations in 2023.
According to the update coming from Algiers, the government of the country has commenced renovation in 5 more stadiums.
Algeria last hosted AFCON in 1990 in which they eventually emerged as the winner.
