AFCON 2025: CAF Confirms Tanzania Qualification, Nullifies Guinea's Protest

The hope of the Syli Stars of Guinea to be part of the 2025 African Cup of Nations has been dashed, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Guinea Football Federation lodged a complaints that Tanzania used ineligible player to play in the final game of the qualifier.

The disciplinary committee of the African soccer governing took a decision on the matter on Thursday and nullified the protest of Guinea.

Instead Tanzania was fined $50000 for lack of consciousness in their part.
