Nigeria’s Afrobeat superstar, David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has shown his support for the Super Eagles and the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, staking a jaw-dropping $25,000 (approximately N36 million) on Nigeria’s opening Group C match against Tanzania, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Davido shared a snapshot of his betting slip on his X handle (formerly Twitter) on Sunday, with the caption “Let’s get this W Nigeria.”

The Stake app betting slip shows a bet on both teams to score, with a potential payout of $9mately N140 million. This is not Davido’s first high-profile bet on the Super Eagles.
