Egypt head coach Hossam Hassan has set his sights on securing a win against Nigeria in the third-place playoff of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations.

The clash is scheduled for Saturday in Morocco, following both teams’ semi-final exits. Hassan, a legendary figure in Egyptian football, emphasized the importance of ending the tournament on a high note.

“Egypt has a rich history of winning the Africa Cup of Nations… and we’re playing to win against Nigeria,” he said.
