The 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco has recorded an impressive turnout from fans, with stadiums witnessing strong attendance in the opening phase of the tournament, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
So far, a total of 508,048 spectators have attended 24 matches, translating to an average of approximately 22,000 fans per match across the host venues.
The figures underline the growing appeal of Africa’s flagship football competition and reflect Morocco’s capacity to deliver a vibrant matchday atmosphere, supported by modern stadiums and efficient organization.
Crowds have turned out in large numbers to watch both continental heavyweights and emerging teams, contributing to the electric ambience that has characterized the early stages of the tournament.
With more high-profile fixtures and knockout matches still to come, attendance figures are expected to rise further as the competition progresses toward the business end of AFCON 2025.
