AFCON 2025: I’m Here To Instill Discipline Into The Team – Cameroon Coach Pagou

Newly appointed head coach of the Indomitable Lions, David Pagou, has vowed to restore discipline and reshape the image of the Cameroon national team as preparations intensify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, BSNSports.com.ng reports .

Speaking after his official unveiling, Pagou emphasized that his priority will be to rebuild character and unity within the squad following recent controversies and performance setbacks.

 “I’m a child of a military man, so we’ll try to restore discipline and give a new image to this team,” Pagou declared confidently.

His appointment marks the beginning of a fresh era for the five-time African champions after the dismissal of Marc Brys, who was relieved of his duties earlier this week amid tension with the football federation.

Cameroon will now hope Pagou’s leadership brings stability and competitiveness as they chase their sixth continental title at AFCON 2025.
