The head coach of Morocco’s Atlas Lions, Walid Regragui, has openly acknowledged that his position could be on the line if his team fails to overcome Nigeria in the African Cup of Nations semi-final, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Regragui’s side will face the Super Eagles of Nigeria in a high-stakes clash in Rabat, with the Moroccan coach reportedly under pressure to deliver the trophy on home soil.

“Every coach knows he must be prepared for the sack if he doesn’t win.

But I don’t think about that… I’m not afraid of being sacked,” Regragui said ahead of the match.

The semi-final showdown is expected to be fiercely contested as Morocco seeks to capitalize on home advantage, while Nigeria aims to continue its push for the continental crown.
