As part of preparations for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, Morocco's head coach, Walid Regragui, has requested a friendly match against Nigeria’s Super Eagles, according to BSNSports.com.ng reports 

With Morocco set to host the prestigious tournament, the France-born tactician is eager to strengthen his squad and increase their chances of retaining the trophy on home soil.

On Wednesday, Regragui highlighted the importance of facing a strong team like Nigeria, seeing it as a valuable test for his players ahead of the competition.

He has urged the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, led by Faouzi Lekjaa, to arrange the high-profile friendly against the three-time African champions.
