AFCON 2025: Qualified Teams Officially Confirmed

After the completion of the qualifiers, all the qualified teams for the 2025 African Cup of Nations have been confirmed, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

This was confirmed following the final rounds of the games. The last three countries to book their spots were Mozambique, Botswana and Tanzania.

Before Tuesday, 21 countries, including Nigeria's Super Eagles, booked their place in the competition.

Host Morocco was the only one who recorded 100% record winning all their games home and away.

The qualified teams are Morocco, Burkina Faso, Cameroon, Algeria, DR Congo, Senegal, Egypt, Angola, Gabon, Uganda and South Africa.

Others include Nigeria, Benin Republic, Comoros, Sudan, Equatorial Guinea, Cote d’Ivoire, Zimbabwe, Mali, Zambia and Tunisia.

Morocco will host the 2025 AFCON from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
