The Super Eagles of Nigeria recorded a commanding 4-0 victory over Mozambique on Monday to secure progression in the second round of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Fez, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria wasted no time asserting dominance, racing into a comfortable lead in the first half.

Ademola Lookman opened the scoring before Victor Osimhen doubled the advantage with a clinical finish, putting the Super Eagles firmly in control at the interval.

Osimhen continued his impressive display after the break, grabbing his second goal of the match to further extend Nigeria’s lead.

Akor Adams then completed the rout with a late strike, capping off a comprehensive performance by the three-time African champions.

The emphatic win underlined the Super Eagles’ attacking quality and defensive solidity as they continue their quest for continental glory at AFCON 2025.
