AFCON 2025: Tanzania Opens Training Camp In Egypt Ahead Of Clash With Super Eagles

The Taifa Stars of Tanzania have officially opened their training camp in Egypt as preparations intensify for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, BSNSports.com.ng reports 

Head coach Miguel Gamondi and his squad are expected to engage in several high-profile friendly matches during their stay in Egypt, designed to fine-tune the team before they head to North Africa for the continental showdown.

Gamondi emphasized that his players will be fully prepared for the task ahead, insisting that the camp will provide the perfect environment to build cohesion and tactical sharpness.

Tanzania have been drawn into a challenging Group A, where they will face Nigeria’s Super Eagles, the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia, and regional rivals Uganda.

The Taifa Stars will fly directly to Morocco from Egypt for the competition, determined to put up a strong performance on the big stage.
