Tunisia defender Moutassar Taibli has revealed how the Carthage Eagles intend to handle Nigeria’s attacking threats ahead of their crucial Group C clash at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The two former African champions will lock horns on Saturday in their second group match, with both sides aiming to secure early qualification for the Round of 16.

Speaking ahead of the encounter, Taibli acknowledged the quality within the Super Eagles’ attacking department but expressed confidence in Tunisia’s ability to contain them.

“We know Nigeria’s attackers are high-level players, but with experience and concentration the result will be positive,” the utility defender said.

Nigeria boast several in-form forwards who have impressed at both club and international level, making them one of the most dangerous attacking sides in the tournament.

With both teams recording positive results in their opening group matches, a win on Saturday will guarantee progression to the knockout stage, setting the stage for a high-stakes and fiercely contested encounter.
