AFCON 2025: Yobo Throws Weight Behind Super Eagles To Win 4th Title

Former Nigeria defender Joseph Yobo has acknowledged that the Super Eagles are in a challenging group at AFCON 2025 but remains confident that the team can clinch the title, BSNSports.com.ng reports .

Yobo, who assisted with the tournament's draw, believes Nigeria has a strong squad capable of winning it all.

The Super Eagles have been drawn into Group C, alongside former AFCON champions Tunisia, Uganda, and Tanzania.

"We have a very talented team, and the players are continuing to improve," Yobo said.

 "We have some of the best players in this generation, and they showed their potential at the last AFCON. While the group is tough, I have no doubt that the Super Eagles will make it out."

He continued, "I hope we start strong and carry that momentum all the way to the final. We're building on our performance from AFCON 2023, and it's time we bring the trophy back. With the players we have and a great new coach, I believe we can do it."
