AFCON 2025 Qualifier: Chukwueze Returns To Italy

Flying winger Samuel Chukwueze has returned to Italy to join his club AC Milan, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Chukwueze played as a second half substitute in the day 3 of the 2025 African Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya in Uyo.

He didn't travel with the team to Libya on Sunday after it was discovered that he's nursing a hamstring injury.

Chukwueze instead returned to Italy where he underwent another test to determine the extent of his injury.
