AFCON 2025 Stadiums Set For Commissioning

The Local Organizing Committee for the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco has announced the official commissioning dates for the tournament’s stadiums, BSNSports.com.ng reports
Morocco was awarded the hosting rights after Guinea was stripped of the opportunity.
The President of the Royal Moroccan Football Federation, Faouzi Lekja, will oversee the first stadium commissioning on March 31, 2025.
Mohamed V Stadium will be the first to open, followed by venues in Marrakech, Agadir, Fes, Moulay Abdellah, and Tangier.
The final two stadiums, Al Barid and Moulay El Hassan are scheduled to open in August 2025.
The biennial tournament is set to take place from December 21, 2025, to January 18, 2026.
