AFCON 2025 To Take Place In December

African soccer governing body has scheduled the next African Nations Cup for December, 2025, this after they continued to go back and forth about the timing of the 2025 African Cup of Nations that will be held in Morocco, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The host country through its president Fouzi Lekja has announced that the competition will be played in the summer of 2025.

However, FIFA has fixed the maiden edition of the 32-team Club World Cup to take place at the same time which has sparked a lot of debates among the stakeholders in the game.

According to the reports coming from the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt, the biennial tournament has now been scheduled to take place in December 2025.

It remains to be seen if the time will not be altered again
