AFCON 2027: Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania Submit Joint Bid In Cairo

As the Confederation of African Football ( CAF) set to announce the host countries for the next editions of the African Cup of Nations, the intending countries continue to press hard to secure the hosting rights, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
The Football body has concluded an arrangement to have its congress in Cotonou, Benin Republic in July where it planned to announce the country that will stage the 2025 and 2027 AFCON competitions.
Algeria, Morocco, Zambia, Nigeria + Benin are the countries seeking to host the 2025 edition.
Three East African countries, Uganda, Kenya and Tanzania on Thursday presented their joint bid for the 2027 AFCON to the Secretary General of CAF Veron Mosengo.
They titled the bid "PAMOJA" and it was presented at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
