Kenya has expressed appreciation for Senegal’s support and experience as preparations intensify for the co-hosting of the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON), BSNSports.com.ng reports 

The East African nation, alongside Tanzania and Uganda, is set to make history as the region hosts Africa’s biggest football tournament for the first time.

Kenyan officials welcomed Senegal’s collaboration as a step toward ensuring the successful organization of the competition, describing the partnership as one rooted in African unity, ambition, and excellence.

The West African powerhouse, Senegal, brings with it a wealth of experience, having recently hosted and managed several major football programs and infrastructure developments.
