AFCON Fallout: Egypt Unveils New Head Coach

Following the sacking of the former manager Rui Victoria, the Egyptian Football Association has announced a new head coach for the Pharaoh, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Victoria was sacked after the Pharaoh crashed out of the African Cup of Nations without winning a single match.

The Egypt FA last week announced former player Hossam Hassan as the new manager for Pharaoh and he will be assisted by his brother Ibrahim.

Hassan was unveiled on Thursday in Cairo, in a colourful ceremony and he was mandated to restore the pride of the country in the upcoming AFCON in Morocco.
