AFCON Fallout: I Almost Passed Out Against Ivory Coast - Mali Coach

The head coach of the Eagles of Mali Sekou Chelle has explained what happened to him after the quarter-final game against the Elephants of Ivory Coast, BSNSports.com.ng reports

His assistant coach was seen pouring water on him after the Ivorian scored the second goal and all attention was focused on him.

The coach explained on Friday how it all happened and how his assistant played a pivotal role in saving his life.

"After the Elephants' second goal, I started to feel dizzy, my blood pressure was rising.

"I thank my compatriot who poured enough water on my head to stabilize my blood pressure", he said

The Malians led for a major part of the game before succumbing to the host despite having a one man advantage.
