AFCON Qualifiers : Sao Tome and Principe Arrive Uyo For Super Eagles Clash

Sao Tome and Principe men's football national team have arrived in Uyo ahead of Sunday's 2023 Africa Nations Cup qualifiers against Nigeria's Super Eagles, The BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The players and officials landed at Victor Attah International Airport, Uyo this morning.

Some members of the Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) protocol department received the delegation upon their arrival.

It should be noted that the second game ever between the two countries, in the first clash ended 10-0 in favour of the Super Eagles, as they arrive in Uyo for the second leg.

The three-time African champions, Nigeria will play host to the Falcons of Sao Tome and Principe, at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium, Uyo.

Super Eagles who have already qualifies for the 2024 African Nations Cup in Ivory Coast are topping the table with 12 points.
