AFCON Qualifiers Update: 22 of 23 Players hit Super Eagles Camp

About 22 players have hit the Super Eagles Camp in Lagos, ahead of the CAF Nations Cup qualifiers against Sierra Leone at the Samuel Kanyon Doe Sports Complex in Monrovia, Liberia, BSNSports.com.ng reports.
Recall that the head coach of the Nigeria national football team - Jose Peseiro released a 23-man squad list to procure the game against the Leone Stars which would be an away tie technically, although played on neutral turf.
All the departments in play are well represented in camp as at Tuesday, 13th June 2023, from the three goalkeepers, to the eight defenders, five midfielders, and six forwards, leaving out Villarreal's Samuel Chukwueze as the player yet to arrive.
Jose Peseiro's team will be hoping to wrap up the qualifying series with a game to spare, provided the game in Monrovia ends in positive results against Sierra Leone.
