AFCON U20: CAF Mistakenly Lists Bosso As Flying Eagles Coach

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) made an error on Thursday when releasing the official team list for Nigeria’s U20 clash against Tunisia at the ongoing U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Ahead of the group stage opener, CAF mistakenly named Ladan Bosso as the head coach of the Flying Eagles instead of the current coach, Aliyu Zubairu.

Zubairu, who currently manages El Kanemi Warriors, replaced Bosso a few months ago and successfully led the team through qualification for the tournament.

Although Bosso is no longer in charge, he holds the distinction of being one of the longest-serving coaches of the Flying Eagles, having led the team in the past two editions of the biennial competition.
