AFCON U20: Kenya Captain Ochieng Confident Ahead Of Nigeria Clash

Kenya U20 captain Baron Ochieng has expressed confidence in his team's readiness to take on any opponent at the upcoming U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Rising Stars secured their spot in the tournament after overcoming Tanzania in the qualifiers and have been drawn into a challenging group alongside Nigeria's Flying Eagles, Morocco, and Tunisia.

Speaking to The Star, the talented midfielder emphasized the team's solid preparations and fearless attitude.

“We’ve prepared well, and despite the tough group, we’re not afraid of our opponents. Even if we had been placed in the other group, we would still have faced teams like Morocco in the knockout stages,” Ochieng stated.

The biennial tournament is set to kick off on April 27.
