AFCON U20: Nigeria Tough Opponent For Egypt- Gaber

Egypt U20 coach Mahmoud Gaber has stressed that the draw for the African Nations Championship placed the team in a very strong group, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

The draw for the U-20 African Nations Championship done on Friday in Cairo, resulted in a tough group for the host of the tournament, as they are in Group A, along with Mozambique, Senegal and Nigeria.

Gaber said, "The Egyptian national team includes a distinguished group of players, and the team that plays for the title must win all matches."

He added, "I know all the teams present in the tournament very well, but the Egypt group is the strongest among the three groups."

"My full confidence in the players of the Egyptian national team, I appeal to the Egyptian fans to attend the tournament matches to strongly support the players to qualify for the World Youth Cup and achieve the title."

Egypt will host the tournament next February at 3 stadiums: Cairo, Alexandria and the Suez Canal Authority.
