AFCON U20: Nigerian Midfielder Suleiman Alabi Issues Warning To South Africa

Following Nigeria’s progression to the semi-finals of the U-20 Africa Cup of Nations, standout midfielder Suleiman Alabi has sent a message of intent to upcoming opponents, South Africa, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Amajitas booked their spot in the semi-finals after edging DR Congo 1-0, setting up a high-stakes clash with the Flying Eagles.

Reflecting on Nigeria’s victory and qualification for the U-20 World Cup, Alabi expressed his delight and made it clear the team’s eyes are now firmly on the continental title.

“I’m very happy with the win. Qualifying for the World Cup is a dream come true for me,” Alabi said.

“Now, our focus is on the remaining matches — we’re determined to win the AFCON.”

The semi-final showdown between Nigeria and South Africa is scheduled for Thursday in Suez.
