AFCON U20: No Secret Behind Our Win – Zubairu

Flying Eagles coach Aliyu Zubairu has attributed his team’s hard-fought victory over Tunisia to the players’ determination and focus, rather than any hidden tactics, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Nigeria edged out the Junior Carthage Eagles of Tunisia 1-0 in their opening Group game on Thursday.

Speaking after the match, Zubairu emphasized that the team was driven by their ambition to qualify for the U20 World Cup.

“There’s no secret to our victory other than our strong desire to secure a World Cup ticket,” he said.

“The boys knew the importance of starting well, and that motivation carried us through.”

The Flying Eagles will next face the Junior Atlas Lions of Morocco in their second group fixture.
