AFCON U20: Uganda Hippos Can't Stop Flying Eagles - Bosso

Ibraheem Lateef Ayodele

Ladan Bosso has given his assurance that the Hippos of Uganda can't stop his ambitious Flying Eagles from qualifying for the FIFA U20 World Cup scheduled for Indonesia from 20th May – 11th June, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Both teams lock horns in one of the quarterfinal fixture of the ongoing AFCON U20 tournament in Egypt, billed for Thursday at the 22,000 capacity Suez Canal Stadium in Ismailia.

Bosso hinted after Monday's recovery and light practice session in Ismailia ahead the tricky tie against Group B leaders 'The Hippos': "It's an important game for us and one that will determine the Flying Eagles qualification for the World Cup in Indonesia.

" The boys have been separated from men, so at this stage, only the best is good enough to make it to the semi-finals.

"I don't want to be over confident, but I trust my Flying Eagles to go all out to secure the ticket against the Uganda Hippos.

"My team is growing with confidence after the defeat to Senegal. As regards the Hippos, we have taken time to watch their matches and got an idea about the team's pattern of play.

" I want to use this medium to plead with Nigerians to keep believing in the Flying Eagles and continue in their prayers for the team, as that is what we need."
