Flying Eagles head coach Aliyu Zubairu has set his sights on securing all three points when Nigeria faces Tunisia in their opening match of the U20 Africa Cup of Nations in Egypt, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigerian U20 team will take on the Junior Carthage Eagles on Thursday, and Zubairu remains confident ahead of the clash.

“That result has given us the right momentum heading into this encounter with Tunisia – another tough North African side,” Zubairu told NFF media.

“It’s the kind of boost you need before a major tournament.”

“However, it doesn’t mean we’ll be complacent. It simply gives us the confidence to tackle what lies ahead.”

“Our goal is to claim maximum points against Tunisia, and then take each game as it comes.”

The Flying Eagles are drawn in the same group as Morocco and Kenya, following their opening fixture against Tunisia.
