AFCON U23 Qualifiers: Balele Charges Olympic Eagles To Claim Victory Against Tanzania

Aminu Kurfi Balele, Head of NFF Task Force of the age-grade teams, has charged players of Olympic Eagles to return from Dar es Salaam with victory against Tanzania in this weekend's AFCON U23 qualifiers, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The qualifiers holds on Saturday at the Benjamin Mkapa Stadium in Dar es Salaam.

The Katsina State-born administrator who flew into Lagos Thursday from Abuja, laid more emphasis on the need to make the nation proud because even the number one Sports Man in the country was in their midst on Wednesday to show support and charge them. Balele also gave the team his support.

"I am going an extra mile to ensure that your welfare and every other thing you need to make Nigeria proud will be put in place. 

“The NFF President Ibrahim Gusau has given us the mandate to ensure that age grade teams’ welfare is a priority and also focus on early preparation for camping, which we will focus on.

“Your subsequent camping will turn a new leaf, but you should all go out there and beat your Tanzania opponents," Balele concluded.

The team left Nigeria for Des es Salam at 10 pm Thursday.
