AFCON Update: CAF Inaugurates Main Media Center In Rabat Ahead Of Morocco 2025

The Confederation of African Football (CAF), in collaboration with the Local Organizing Committee, has officially inaugurated the Main Media Center (MMC) in Rabat ahead of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The state-of-the-art facility, located at the Moulay Abdellah Sports Complex, is set to serve as the nerve centre for all media operations throughout the tournament.

Designed to accommodate close to 2,000 media professionals from across Africa and around the world, the MMC is equipped with high-speed internet, modern and comfortable workspaces, advanced technical infrastructure, and comprehensive logistical support.

CAF officials described the center as a key component of Morocco’s commitment to delivering a world-class AFCON, noting that the facility raises the benchmark for media coverage at both continental and global levels.

With the opening of the Main Media Center, preparations for AFCON 2025 continue to gather momentum, reinforcing Morocco’s readiness to host one of the most anticipated football events on the African calendar.
