AFCON Update: Dahane Beida To Officiate Super Eagles Vs Tanzania Clash

The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has appointed Mauritanian referee Dahane Beida to officiate Nigeria’s Group match against Tanzania at the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Beida will be in charge when the Super Eagles take on the Taifa Stars on Tuesday in what is expected to be a crucial encounter in the group stage of the tournament.

The experienced official is one of CAF’s top referees and has handled several high-profile matches across the continent, including previous AFCON and FIFA competitions.

Nigeria will be aiming for a positive result against Tanzania as they continue their quest for continental glory in Morocco.
