AFCON Update: Nwabali Wears New Look Ahead Of Tanzania Tie

Super Eagles goalkeeper Stanley Nwabali has unveiled a new look ahead of Nigeria’s opening group game against Tanzania at the ongoing 2025 Africa Cup of Nations, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

As the Super Eagles intensify preparations for Tuesday’s clash with the Taifa Stars, the Chippa United shot-stopper was spotted in training on Monday sporting a blonde hairstyle, drawing attention from fans and teammates alike.

Nwabali, who is expected to play a key role for Nigeria in the tournament, has grown in confidence and status within the national team following a series of impressive performances. 

The new look is seen as a sign of his readiness and high spirits as the Super Eagles begin their 

AFCON campaign.

Nigeria will take on Tanzania in their first Group game on Tuesday, with Eric Chelle’s side aiming for a winning start to boost their chances in the competition.
