AFCON Update: Super Eagles Opponent To Announce Final List On Thursday

With just a few days left before the kickoff of the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Morocco, Tunisia head coach Sami Trabelsi has confirmed the date for the release of his squad, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Trabelsi disclosed that the final list of players for the tournament will be unveiled on Thursday, December 11, as preparations intensify ahead of the continental showpiece.

The Carthage Eagles have been in intensive training camp and recently returned from their participation in the Arab Cup, which formed part of their build-up to AFCON 2025.

Tunisia, winners of the tournament in 2004, have been drawn into Group C, where they will face Nigeria’s Super Eagles, Tanzania and Uganda in what promises to be a highly competitive group.

All eyes will now be on Thursday’s announcement as fans await the names that will carry Tunisia’s hopes in Morocco.
