Ahead of the maiden edition of the African Football League, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has approached the Saudi Arabia Football Federation for more assistance, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Saudi Arabia has suddenly become a huge financier in the World of Sports recently, especially in football and Africa too has benefited from it.

The African Super Cup match between Al Ahly of Egypt and USM Algiers of Algeria was held in Algeria.

Saudi Arabia has agreed to shoulder the responsibility of the African Football League and the African soccer ruling has approached them for more help.

CAF on Sunday requested Saudi Arabia to help them with semi-automatic video technology tools to help in the detection of offsides and some key decisions in the competition.

The competition which will involve Nigeria champions Enyimba International will commence on the 20th of October, 2023 in Tanzania.
