AFL: Finidi Reveals Reason NPFL Champions Enyimba Crashed Out

The head coach of the Nigeria Premier League side Enyimba International Finidi George has revealed the reason they lost to Wydad Casablanca, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The Nigeria champions lost 4-0 on aggregate to the Moroccan giants over the two legs in the African Football League.

The Nigerian legend attributed their defeat to the inexperience of his players and further said they will learn from it ahead of the future engagement 

 "It was not a good match for us, especially in the first half and it was because of the way Wydad played.

"They put us under a lot of pressure and my players made mistakes which gave them an early goal. After the early goal, we knew it was going to be difficult."

We have a lot of young players. We are working towards something and I think in the coming years, these players will graduate and will have the experience to play at this level.

"For them, it was a big experience playing in such a tournament. We will learn from what we have done wrong," he said.
