AFL Final: Wydad Casablanca Player Passes Away

Ahead of the weekend final of the African Football League against Mamelodi Sundown of South Africa, Wydad Casablanca has announced the passing away of their player Oussamah Falouh, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The player had been in a coma since last month after having a fatal car accident.

The club released a statement about the player on Friday morning.

"Oussamah Falouh is in God's memory, with great sadness the Wydad Casablanca club management announces the death of the respected player Oussamah Falouh.

"In this dark hour Mr. Said Naciri on behalf of himself and members of his office, the players, the technical and administrative team, and all the employees, extend their deepest condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased ", the club statement reads.

The first leg of the final game is slated for this weekend and the final is on the 11th of November, 2023.
