At its Extraordinary Congress held yesterday, the Athletics Federation of Nigeria (AFN) has resolved to relocate the upcoming presidential election from Asaba to Abuja, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

The decision was made amid concerns over neutrality, as three of the leading candidates vying for the top position are from Delta State, where Asaba is located.

According to reports, tensions are high ahead of the much-anticipated elections to usher in a new administration at the AFN.
