AJ Auxerre have completed the signing of central defender Bryan Okoh from Lausanne Sport, with the 22-year-old committing his future to the Ligue 2 club until June 2029, BSNSports.con ng reports
Okoh, who was born in Houston, United States, began his football education in Switzerland before joining the Red Bull Salzburg academy. The defender returned to Switzerland last summer with a move to Lausanne Sport, where he has enjoyed a productive spell. This season, Okoh has made 29 appearances across all competitions, including ten outings in European competition.
A left-footed centre-back standing at 1.91 metres, Okoh is widely regarded as one of Switzerland’s most promising defensive talents. He has represented the national team at every youth level from Under-15 through to the Under-21s.
Set to wear the number 24 shirt, Okoh will now test himself in a third domestic league as he joins Auxerre’s squad ahead of the next phase of the season.
