APC Endorses Sports Committee Chairman For Return To House Of Assembly In 2027

Hon. Kabiru Amadu, Chairman of the House Committee on Sports, has emerged as the consensus candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the Gusau/Tsafe Federal Constituency in Zamfara State, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

Amadu, popularly known as “Mai-Palace,” is currently serving his second term in the House of Representatives and is poised to seek re-election in the 2027 general elections.

His endorsement as the party’s consensus candidate is widely attributed to his track record in office, particularly the execution of constituency projects and his performance in legislative duties. Observers note that his tenure has been marked by initiatives aimed at improving infrastructure and social welfare within his constituency.

The development has been met with celebrations across various segments of the constituency, including community leaders, youth groups, women’s associations, and religious organizations, reflecting broad-based support for his candidacy.
