ASABA 2022: Team Oyo Wins Gold, Silver, As Team Nasarawa Hits Bronze In Taekwondo

It was a medal rush for Team Oyo as Harun Usman Akamsoko won a gold medal in Taekwondo Poomsae at the ongoing National Sports Festival in Asaba, reports BSNSports.com.ng.

Akamsoko will be aiming to win another medal alongside his colleagues Akintunde Akinwale and Akinbode Sunday in another group event.

Team Oyo also won a silver medal in Table Tennis (Team Event) in the Female category. The athletes were Fatima Kazeem, Halimotu Hussein, Rashidat Yussuf and Sadia Akeem. 

Meanwhile, Team Nasarawa also recorded its first medal as Agada Elijah won a bronze medal in the Taekwondo Poomsae Individual at the multi-purpose hall, Stephen Keshi Stadium, Asaba-Delta State.
