ASFAR have reclaimed their place at the summit of African women’s club football after clinching the CAF Women’s Champions League 2025 title on Friday, defeating ASEC Mimosas 2–1 in a fiercely contested final at the Suez Canal Stadium in Ismailia, Egypt, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The Moroccan giants showed character, resilience and dominance to secure their second title in the history of the competition, reaffirming their status as one of the strongest women’s football teams on the continent.

The thrilling encounter kept spectators on the edge of their seats, with ASFAR controlling key moments and converting their chances, while ASEC Mimosas fought bravely in search of their first continental trophy.

With the triumph, ASFAR not only lift the prestigious CAF Women’s Champions League trophy once again but also earn the honour of representing Africa at the upcoming FIFA Women’s Champions Cup.
