AWBL: Nigeria Customs Beat CNSS, Progress to Quarter-Finals

Nigeria Customs defeated C.N.S.S by 66-57 to progress to the quarter-finals of the 2023 FIBA Africa Women's Basketball League, AWBL, BSNSports.com.ng reports. 

The Border Girls, who were down by 32-33 to their opponents at half-time, came back stronger in the third quarter with a 41-33 lead.

Customs rally in the fourth quarter to defeat CNSS in their last group game as D'Tigress Tomi Taiwo was on fire with perimeter shots to help break CNSS' defense that became difficult.

The Border Girls got the win and also recorded their second victory to finish third on the log and advanced to the quarter-finals.

The heroin of the day was Taiwo, who has been sensational for the team in the competition. She recorded 24 points, 3 rebounds, 2 assists, 1 steal, 2 blocks and 4/12 from deep to help her side crush their opponents.
