AWBL: Nigeria Customs Suffers Defeat To KPA

Nigeria Customs has suffered defeat to KPA of Kenya by 73-53 in their second game of the FIBA Women's Basketball League in Egpyt, BSNSports.com.ng reports.

It was an unforgettable second quarter for the Border Girl's who were down by 19 points at half time and could only manage 8 points.

KPA, who had been the better side of the two ended the third quarter with a 62-41 over the Border Girl's who had to dig deep but lost to the prowess of their opponents at the end of the last quarter. 

Captain Nkem Akaraiwe finished with a double of 16 points and 10 rebounds as the Nigerian side, would face the hosts and defending champions Alexandria Sporting tomorrow at 8pm.
