Debutant Botswana has budgeted a huge amount of cash for the upcoming 2022 African Women Cup of Nations in Morocco, BSNsports.com.ng gathered 



After so many years of trying the Southern African country picked one of the available tickets after edging rivals for the slot.


President of the country's football association Mr Mfolo Mfolo on Tuesday announced the programme lined up for the team.



"We think the ladies need to be away from town because we need their concentration levels up, to focus.", said Mr Mfolo


“We are looking at the area around Morocco, most likely Tunisia. Most of the qualified teams will be camping around that area. Some will be in Turkey and the surrounds." he added.


He, however, told the media that the required budget for the Women's team preparations is P7,2 millionn ( 626,820.34) and the association is appealing to both corporates and parastatals to come on board to help women in their historic achievement.


“We need to be united. We therefor kindly request anybody, to assist anyhow especially the corporates and parastatals because this is all for Botswana at the end of the day, " Mfolo said.
