AWCON 2022: Super Falcons Opponent Goes Into Closed Camping

Barely a month into the commencement of the 2022 African Women Cup of Nations in Morocco, Nigeria's Super Falcons group opponent Mares of Botswana has moved into another closed camp, BSNsports.com.ng report



Since they qualified for the tournament the Southern African country has intensified their readiness for the biennial event.


They engaged Shepolopolo of Zambia in an international friendly in Lusaka in April and was in camp for two weeks in Orapa earlier in May.


The Botswana Football Federation on Tuesday announced that the Mares will move into another closed camp in Jwaneng and will be there till June 15th.


Botswana as a debutant will face another debutant Burundi in their opening group match on the 7th of July before facing defending champion Nigeria later in the competition.
