Just as the invited players set to storm the team camp for the preparations for the 2022 African Women Cup of Nations, head coach Randy Waldrum has decided to hand invitation to two new players, BSNsports.com.ng gathered
The American gaffer has released a list of the invited players about 3 weeks ago and the full preparation is set to resume in the distant future.
The just-concluded Nigeria Women Football League Super 6 seems to be responsible for the list revision because the tournament's top scorer Monday Gift was not among the invited players.
Gift proved all the bookmakers wrong as she netted nine goals in five matches to emerge tournament's highest goal scorer and most valuable player.
Following her amazing performance Gift was invited to join the Super Falcons camp while former Real Madrid Feminino defender Chima Okeke was also invited.
Nigeria will be defending her title in Morocco with the aim of picking one of the 4 World cup tickets allocated to Africa.
